On Mon, Oct 27, pass holders will be treated to a special advance screening of Astra Taylor’s EXAMINED LIFE which recently had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and will be released theatrically next year.
In today’s New York Sun, S. James Snyder writes that STF “has become an increasingly important pit stop for projects in need of exposure. Having cultivated a loyal following of attendees and offered some filmmakers their entrée into the New York movie scene, Stranger Than Fiction is more than just a weekly film series; it’s often a celebration” of documentary films.
